The Nikau Apartment
The Nikau Apartments is the first of several apartment buildings within the Botanic Retirement Village. It contains 32 units across four floors, offering a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom layouts for independent living residents. The building’s structure includes concrete columns, post-tension floor slabs, and pre-cast shear walls, chosen for their robustness and fire performance. The façade features Nikau patterns and perforated screens, with balcony shrouds for privacy and shade. The airy, light-filled entry includes a double-height lobby and natural light in hallways. Universal design principles, such as level entry and wide corridors, future-proof these apartments. 3 Te Kehu Way, nestled within the Sylvia Park Shopping Centre in New Zealand, embodies a remarkable $63 million development led by the Kiwi Property and constructed by the Naylor Love. Brilliance Steel proudly shouldered all reinforcement steelwork supply and on-site placing as the trusted subcontractor. This imposing six-story landmark, an impressive 5795 square meters, represents an ambitious endeavor to create a workspace of flexibility and multiplicity while seeking a 6-Star Green Star and 5-Star NABERSNZ rating. Our team's unparalleled expertise and meticulous precision were recognized again, earning us the Naylor Love's distinguished 'Subcontractor of the Month'accolade.
