Christchurch City Hotel by Kensway was brought onto the project after the initial concept proved to be cost-prohibitive. They worked proactively with consultants and contractors to reduce costs and enable the project to be financially viable. Through existing networks and proven experience, Kensway selected a mixture of design and build services contractors for Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), who had experience in high-end commercial projects and brought their expertise to the design table. The building site initially housed two properties on 2627m². The new structure, covering 1845m² with a GFA of 8030m², includes luxurious 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, fluctuating material costs, and labour shortages, CMP Construction delivered high-quality apartments featuring natural stone and aluminium exteriors, Herringbone timber flooring, Italian marble benchtops, and expansive decks with views of Waitemata Harbour.
