After agreeing a price and programme and upon receipt of a letter of intent from the developer, CMP mobilised on site. Within 2 months the Developer decided with lower than expected sales the project was now not viable to proceed as proposed under the NZS3910 Contract.

CMP decided to offer a NZS3916 lump Sum Fixed Price Contract whereby our Contract Price was the Final Account, there were to be no variations and the Consultants were all to be novated over to CMP.

Due to the success of the project, CMP have since negotiated another $60 million project with the developer.

Foods Stuffs North Island Head Office by Livefirm Construction (N.I.) Limited

The new Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) Head Office building is Green Star 5 design 8,500m² building to accommodate over 1000 office staff.

The building includes a metro-style supermarket, click and collect lockers, a café, 2 commercial kitchens, bar and an 300 people events space. 

One of the most challenging aspects was to construct the curved elliptical shaped atrium. 

We delivered the project not only On Time with Pride and Safety but doing so, during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Park Hyatt Auckland Hotel by LBY New Zealand Construction Co., Ltd.

LBY is proud to be the main fit-out contractor for Park Hyatt Auckland, the most luxurious five-star  hotel in New Zealand. With the overall fit-out contract value reaching 46 million NZ dollars, LBY  undertakes the fit-out works for all the spaces and rooms throughout the seven-storey building  except for the third floor and some areas of the sixth floor. 

LBY covered the complete scope of works from the design development, global sourcing of  materials to the construction management. At the peak time of the project, LBY managed almost  200 workers on site. In 2020 after two and a half years LBY successfully delivered the project and  handed over to our Client. 

From the waterfront location to the exquisite design, everything combines to create a sense of  total luxury at the landmark hotel and offers a luxurious stay for all guests.

The construction began late 2019 and all 36 units have been fully delivered to the new owners in June 2021.

With Home Star 6 rating, the homes have been built to a standard higher than the building code with more insulation, excellent acoustic performance, effective moisture control and efficient heating, lighting, providing a quiet and warm home to each resident.

To implement 36 units and the semi-basement into the well-developed suburb, a tailored site management was formulated and carefully carried out through the whole constitution. Where the unforeseen lockdown impacted a lot to New Zealand due to the first outbreak of Covid-19, the site come up a series of responses to make sure the on-time delivery of this project at last.

While Health and Safety is always the priority, everyone has been worked together all the time to keep the performance at a high level. Health and Safety training was organized regularly to site workers and frequent visitors in order to minimise potential safety risk.

3 Coronation Road, Hillcrest by Treasure Homes

Located in the heart of Hillcrest, this project is including eight three-storey terrace houses. These superbly finished three-bedroom homes have been painstakingly built to a high standard with luxury living in mind, as well as capturing the gorgeous view of Rangitoto. It was designed for comfortable living with little maintenance. Each terraced house features three bedrooms and three or more bathrooms. From the generous living room, you can open the doors and step out onto the balcony. The aluminium louvre is the highlight of the whole building and providing enough privacy to the homeowner.

Oceania Dairy Laboratory by Babbage Consultants Ltd

This laboratory was designed to meet not only IANZ requirements but also YiLi’s specific requirements that align the facility with laboratories they operate in China. Again, the challenge was working with foreign requirements (plus a language barrier) and delivering a facility that meet both Chinese and NZ demands.
The whole facility sits firmly grounded and serviced by civil, infrastructure and geotechnical teams, and they worked to ensure the extensive site services designs were implemented on site.

Regal Palms Motel Development by Rubix

The 5 star resort was developed by HY Tourism in response to record visitor growth and increasing demand for hotel rooms in Rotorua. The motel includes function spaces, gym, fine dining restaurant, café and bar and 70 rooms, and is located on the city's famous "motel strip" on Fenton St. Undertaken in two stages, The Regal Palms Rotorua Resort expanded from 45 rooms to 70. The expansion also sees the building of a new reception, 70-seat breakfast room, the current gym becoming a games room, a larger purpose built gym, spa facility, kitchen facilities and treatment room together with outdoor playground, tennis court and barbecue area. The expansion is a response to significant tourism growth in the area over the last five years.
